My name is Danny Stocker, if we have not previously met here is a brief history:
In 2010, with a cherry picked team, we launched 8 channels on the Sky platform. I was responsible for a £1.5m studio build, strategy, recruitment, satellite negotiations, operating procedures, monthly operating budgets, multi-platform services and supervised all vendor relationships.
Prior to that I produced and directed close to 9000 hours of live television for the UK’s leading cross-media participation TV broadcaster where viewers interact with the shows across multiple screens and platforms in parallel.
The previous 16 years were spent working across different fields, hard news, entertainment news, documentaries, top shelf, and generalist television reports for major international broadcasters as well as smaller production companies.
Gener8.tv’s current active projects include: cross-platform participation TV format development, international expansion for existing channels, new channel development, content negotiations, domain name negotiations, VOD/OTT distribution, satellite bandwidth negotiations and unified international mobile billing solutions.
